Lasts week, members of the Focus on the Family Action™ team were in Washington, D.C., delivering petitions to lawmakers on Capitol Hill. At the heart of these petitions are nearly 150,000 signatures voicing the disapproval of pro-life Americans with a health care reform bill that includes publicly funded abortion and lacks conscience protections for health care professionals who oppose abortion.

In addition to delivering the petitions, Focus Action held a press conference on the Capitol grounds. We were proud to have several legislators join us during our press conference and make statements in support of life. Several pro-life allies also attended and lent their voices to our cause.

Because of the urgency of the issue, along with our presence on Capitol Hill, I felt it particularly appropriate that our Focus Action Update™ video also comes to you from Washington, D.C.
